Given the response to Brisbane by night, I thought I might pull out the cityscape shot that I was most happy with (well that I didn't have to do to much to after taking it)

This is from Dallas, TX from the Hilton Hotel Reunion tower where I had a conference in 2003, I have one more that I have to share with the world before I stop posting pre 2004 photos (more on that in a moment!

I guess it's not as pretty as Brisbane with the water, but I like the way the glass edifaces catch the last of the sunset whilst the city below is plunged into darkness

Very nice indeed. The reflection in the glass of the sunset is beautiful. Awesome capture! :-)

Great shot hash, where do you keep pulling these from? ;) You've got the timing and exposure exactly right :). Again I'd be tempted to maybe crop the top off a bit.... mmm.. nah, I'm not sure :/

dallas has very coold lighting at night, hum? not too bright, not too dark....and a nice soft green. good capture.

:sheepish: well I'm going to run out soon if I can't dip into my pre 2004 material, might force me to go out with the camera more rather than sit on my arse and rework old stuff

Well this one is tweaked a bit, brightness has been lowered to make it darker and contrast and saturation bumped abit to make the lights a little more vibrant. I'm such a cheat :D
